New Lollipop Chainsaw Video Introduces Juliet’s Boyfriend

Valentine’s Day is rapidly approaching so Grasshopper Manufacture and Warner Bros. decided to showcase the love story in their upcoming Lollipop Chainsaw zombie game with a special video that introduces the boyfriend of heroine Juliet, or rather what’s left of him, as he’s now a severed head.

Lollipop Chainsaw was announced last year and, since then, it’s definitely peaked the curiosity of many gamers, largely because it features a blonde teenage cheerleader that needs to fight against legions of zombies, but also because it’s coming from the mind of famous Japanese designer Goichi Suda (Suda51).

We’ve already seen quite a few videos and screenshots with the game and now we get to finally learn what's the deal with the severed head Juliet keeps with her.

It turns out that the head is her boyfriend, Nick, who saved Juliet from a zombie attack but became infected in the progress. As such, using her trusty chainsaw, she severed his head and apparently kept him alive. Now, they work together in order to stop the undead horde before it’s too late.
