Not so long ago, we saw the upcoming Leica T Type 701 camera appear in some photos. Now those curious about the new model can take a look at a few more pics, showing the unibody.

As you might know by now, Leica is scheduled to hold an important media event on April 24 and it has been speculated this is the date when we will see the Leica T appear into the wild.

LeicaRumors has now published a few pictures (courtesy of Czech website fotoskoda.cz) detailing the new camera’s aluminum unibody that will be produced in Germany using a new and unique manufacturing process.

The German photo-maker is also expected to release an M-mount adapter, at the same event. Anyway, the Leica T Type 701 has been said to be designed by Audi, while the camera parts will be manufactured by Panasonic.

The device is expected to arrive with a built-in autofocus, but with no rangefinder. Instead, Leica will add an external electronic viewfinder.

In the pictures you can see the aluminum version of the Leica T, but a “black anodized” model will also become available in the near future.

As for pricing, word on the street has it the Leica T Type 701 will sell for around $3,000 / €2,173.
