A Russian Lego store has just made a ton of Minecraft fans happy by offering them a glimpse of Christmas a little early on, in the form of some images depicting the upcoming Lego Minecraft sets.

The images show the first six planned Minecraft sets, that will be proper, minifig scale, full-on creations, as opposed to the previous dabbles in the blocky pixel world that the Danish toy maker made and offered for sale.

The first six Minecraft sets have been kept under wraps up to now, in spite of the deafening background noise created by the fans’ shouts of excitement.

The sets feature the iconic character Steve, alongside some trusty picks, some nasty Creepers, and a wide range of pets, farm animals and pesky, dangerous wildlife.

The first sets are titled Mine, Dragon Edge, Workbench, First Night, Farm and Cave, and you can see them all in the images below.

Although far from being as exciting as some of the brick enthusiasts’ independent creations, the official sets are usually a pretty neat thing to own, especially when they come with unique and custom pieces

For the time being, the sets have no precise release date other than sometime next month, but they’re likely going to find their way under a ton of Christmas trees this holiday season.
