A clearer view on Palm Gandolf

The last leaked image of the Palm Gandolf which we have seen was very similar to poorly faked UFO pictures. Many people even questioned just how real the photo could have been.

One thing is for sure, the last image of Palm Gandolf which we have seen didn't flatter this smartphone at all. As to make its existence as clear as possible, a real vivid color picture of it is now available for everyone to enjoy.

The bad news is that Palm Gandolf's appearance hasn't improved a great deal. The phone looks just as big and chubby as before, although considerably more shiny and appealing in the white case version.

Palm Gandolf will come with Windows Mobile 6 installed, which makes it one of the highest evolved smartphones. Still, it is said not to be capable of Bluetooth connectivity, which is quite surprising for a device of such high performances.

The display screen looks rather small on this device, although it is just the fact that the phone will probably turn out to be rather big. Moreover, it is capable of a resolution of only 240 x 320 pixels, which shows the fact that its dimensions are no bigger than it should in order to comply with the basic needs of its user.

Another disadvantage is that the display screen does not come with touchscreen performances. Considering the popularity that such a feature has had in the last time, it will prove to be highly disappointing not to see it in this smartphone too.

Palm Gandolf will be available for all Sprint subscribers for an estimate price of USD 200. Moreover, there are hints which show the possibility of this handset reaching the European market sometime in the future, under Vodafone's logo. The estimate time when the smartphone will be available is set sometime on the fourth quarter of this year.
