The development team at Riot Games has offered details on the next champion to be introduced to League of Legends, called Jayce, who is the 100th member of the roster of the free-to-play Massive Online Battle Arena game.

Jayce is known as “The Defender of Tomorrow” and he will come equipped with high tech armor and a weapon called the Mercury Hammer, which can be transformed into the Mercury Cannon.

The new champion is offered on the test servers for League of Legends at the moment and he will be introduced to the full game soon.

The video offers more information on Jayce and Riot Games promises that despite reaching the 100 heroes milestone it plans to deliver more content for League of Legends in the coming months.

The game is easy to pick up and play and the developer offers a range of champions for free while allowing others and a number of cosmetic modifications to be bought in a microtransaction store.
