Korean manufacturer LG has put out on the market one of the most competitive 8.3-inch tablets available for purchase today, in the form of the LG G Pad 8.3.

For those of you wondering when LG will take up tablet making again, it appears we have positive news for you.

According to Myce, LG has submitted a new tablet to the FCC to be granted approval. The new slate goes by the name LG-V700 Dual Wi-Fi.

Information about the configuration the tablet will arrive with is pretty low, but I can tell you the tablet is Wi-Fi only and will come devoid of Bluetooth support whatsoever.

Furthermore, the slate will be equipped with Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box, which is good news considering the LG G Pad 8.3 was updated to KitKat just a short while ago.

Other known specifications for the time being are the two cameras (5MP on the back and 1MP in front). If you were wondering about the name Dual-WiFi, it refers to the fact that the Wi-Fi is supported on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands.

In related news, another LG tablet has been making its presence felt. I’m talking about the V400, another slate running Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. We currently know the two models are headed for the US, but more info will undoubtedly be added soon.
