As some of you might know, the ink used for inkjet printers is among the most expensive substances on the planet. However, in order to make their products more attractive for budget-conscious users, the most important manufacturers from this particular segment are now focusing on reducing the printing costs as much as possible. And that's also the case with Kodak, which has just announced two very innovative Wireless All-in-One (AIO) Inkjet printers, the ESP 7 and ESP 9, touted as being able to help consumers save up to 110 bucks per year on ink.

That rather important cut in printing costs is partly possible due to the fact that the KODAK ESP 7 and ESP 9 AiO Printers feature an intelligent paper tray system that automatically adjusts settings based on 4x6 or 5x7 sizes and estimates paper amounts on both trays to ensure that consumers are more productive when printing. Additionally, secure Wi-Fi printing increases efficiency and flexibility by allowing users to print from anywhere in their home or office directly to this cost-effective device.

Also, both devices take full advantage of the included KODACOLOR Technology, a combination of four key elements: pigment-based inks, micro-porous photo papers, color and image science, and a Micro-Electro-Mechanical-Systems (MEMS) print head, which further reduces the amount of ink used when printing.

Now that we've seen the common features the two AIOs from Kodak have to offer, let's take a closer look at each of their specifics. Thus, the KODAK ESP 7 AiO Printer, which retails for around $199.99, has been equipped with a 3-inch color LCD along with memory card and USB slots to allow consumers to view, edit and print without a computer. The ESP 7 includes a duplexer for two-sided printing and attains some pretty OK printing speeds (28 seconds for a 4 x 6 inch borderless photo, 32 pages per minute grayscale printing and 30 pages per minute color printing).

The KODAK ESP 9 AiO Printer, on the other hand, retails for around $299.99 and offers a 10-inch one-touch control panel, fax capabilities, an auto-document feeder, built-in duplexer, and built-in Wi-Fi and Ethernet connection.
