Messy lines change into numbers according to wrist position

Kisai is trying to put into motion an idea involving a wrist watch and an accelerometer, but the implementation leaves a bit to be desired.

The short version of the story is that Japanese company Tokyoflash has revealed the Kisai Online watch that uses lines to show the time.

The slightly longer version is that Kisai Online usually displays a rather unintelligible mess, one that becomes just a bit more distinguishable when the built-in accelerometer thinks the hand is held in the required way.

Watch the video above for the demo and pretty much every bit of meaningful info, but remember that the always-on display gadget costs $170 / €139.25.

The bodies are of stainless steel (silver or black finish) but the LCDs come in natural, blue and red shades.
