Kingston Digital decided it was time to make the flash drive market even more colorful than it was before by releasing three new models, each with their very own, quite unique color schemes.

Kingston is known throughout the world as one of the more prominent suppliers of storage units, both external and internal.

The company has managed to stay up to date as far as technological advancements and user demand goes.

The newest step towards making its product offer even more varied came in the form of the DataTraveler Mini Fun Generation 2.

As its name implies, it is aimed at end-users that like bright colors and need their portable storage device to match their various other items when at school or traveling.

As such, they utilize a miniature design and different colors schemes that help differentiate between the available capacities.

That said, there are three models, one of which has a capacity of 2 GB and colored half light green and half dark green.

The second one, with a storage space of 4 GB, has a light blue/dark blue color theme.

Finally, the DTMFG2/8GB, otherwise known as DataTraveler Mini Fun G2 8GB, is colored black and red.

All of them measure 1.84" x 0.75" x .0.31" (46.80 mm x 19.00 mm x 8.00 mm), have operating temperatures of 32° to 140° F (0° to 60° C) and storage temperatures of -4°to 185° F (-20° to 85° C).

“The DT Mini Fun G2 marks the next generation of a Kingston favorite. It features a miniature design in great colors, which makes the drive ideal for home, school and travel,” states the company's press release.

“This versatile Flash drive also features a rugged silicon housing and comes with a key loop to attach the drive to a backpack or bag,” the announcement added.

Kingston's newest flash drives communicate with host PCs via the USB 2.0 interface and are said to have prices of between 5.43 Euro and 10.43 Euro.
