If you happen to be the owner of a pretty large DVD collection and wish to be able to easily view your favorite flicks at all times, without actually searching each time for the specific disc, then the brand-new Kaleidescape Cinema One DVD Movie Server might be just the thing for you.

The Cinema One is a single component movie server capable of storing 225 DVDs or 2,500 CDs - yet installs as easily as an ordinary DVD player, by connecting power, the Internet, and a television display.

The system is built on the platform of and replaces the Kaleidescape Mini System, and is ideal for the retail market because it eliminates the need for storage configuration.

Key benefits include instant viewing, users being able to simply press play and instantly start to view any movie, concert, or television episode stored on their DVDs, while also being able to easily browse and sort an entire collection by title, actor, director, genre, year-of-release, or running time.

The device is also kid-friendly, the Child Remote making it easier for youngsters to find and view their favorite movies.

The system includes two independent music zones, enabling a movie to be watched in one room while music is enjoyed in other parts of the home, while users who're looking for more storage or want to share movies with another TV simply have to add another Cinema One or a Kaleidescape player to the home network, because any Kaleidescape component works seamlessly with the Cinema One.

"Our dealers and customers have been asking for a simple-to-install Kaleidescape System," said Michael Malcolm, founder, chairman, and CEO of Kaleidescape. "The Cinema One makes it possible for many more customers to enjoy the richness of the Kaleidescape experience."

Unfortunately, the Kaleidescape Cinema One system doesn't really come cheap, since it's offered at $4,995 MSRP in the United States and Canada, no details regarding international pricing and availability being provided, unfortunately.
