New Jimi Hendrix Song “Somewhere” Is Out, Awesome

There’s a new dose of Jimi Hendrix awesomeness coming our way, once the album “People, Hell & Angels,” containing previously unreleased studio recordings, arrives in music stores. Above is a never before heard single.

It’s called “Somewhere” and it’s already getting plenty of love from the fans online. “Awesome” seems to be the word they all agree best describes it.

According to TheWrap, “Somewhere” will also be getting airplay on television as well, not just on radio, as it will be featured on an upcoming episode of “Hawaii Five-o.”

“CBS's hit cop drama will feature previously unreleased music from the late guitar legend Hendrix on a special episode airing Sunday, Jan. 20, the network said,” the industry publication writes.

“People, Hell & Angels” will feature 12 “new” songs from Hendrix, and will be out on March 4, 2013. Mark your calendars.
