New Jessica Simpson Photos Fuel Pregnancy Talk

Though she’s not the one to let ridiculous rumors about herself circulate for too long, Jessica Simpson is keeping uncharacteristically mum on the topic of her reported pregnancy. New photos do nothing to put them to rest.

For a few weeks, the blogosphere has been talking a lot about how Jessica’s recent weight gain may actually be down to pregnancy.

Once that was out there, various “insiders” came out saying that she didn’t want to announce it just yet because she wasn’t sure if she wanted to marry fiancé Eric Johnson anymore.

The other day, Jessica was photographed out and about and, as Radar Online points out, her outfit did not help in putting these rumors to rest.

“The bride-to-be, who has yet to confirm whether she has a bun in the oven, was spotted outside of a Los Angeles office building on Thursday showing off what seemed to be a burgeoning baby bump,” the e-zine says.

“Wearing a cropped denim jacket over a black maxi dress, which drew attention to her rounded midsection, the blonde bombshell did little to dispel the pregnancy rumors with her choice of clothing!” adds the publication.

She was also using the oldest trick in the celebrity book when it comes to hiding baby bumps, that of shielding it with an oversized handbag, other voices online note.

Sources who claim to be familiar with the situation are saying for Radar that Jess is definitely with child, but she’s still taking her time before breaking the news to the world.

“It’s still early in the pregnancy, and Jessica has decided to wait before sharing her happiness with her fans,” the insider is quoted as saying.

“But she has begun telling family and friends the exciting news,” adds the same spy.
