Eco-conscious people who own an iPhone or an iPad will most likely be pleased to find out that Taptu has launched a new app using Guardian content, to keep keen green activists up to date with the most important news from this sector.

One of the most important advantages is that users can edit or “DJ” their own mixed streams for environmental news, selecting the elements they are really interested in and leaving the less relevant facts behind. It's like creating your own playlist.

The app gives us free access to articles, blogs and photos coming from the most trust-worthy sources, that we can share with our friends on Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin.

Moreover, the new app built by Teptu is offering iPhone and iPad owners unlimited access to fresh green information regarding wildlife, pollution, climate change and every other hot topic meant to capture their attention, even when they are on the run. Plus, it's fun and free.
