A brand new trailer for “Interstellar,” that highly anticipated Christopher Nolan movie that comes out in November this year and no one knows exactly what it’s about, has dropped. It finally explains the plot, so fans have a bit more to go on by means of story than just “space travel,” “Everyman” and “black holes.”

Christopher Nolan, who wrote the script and handles directorial duties, is famous for his secrecy whenever he’s working on a new project. Proof of that is in the fact that he managed to keep the plot details of his 2014 film under wraps until well into 2014.

The new trailer is embedded below in full and in HB below.

Humanity has reached a crisis point: resources are dwindling, which means that man is faced but with 2 options, either leave the planet and seek a better place to continue life, or stay here and die. There is a sense of urgency that is translated very well in the images from the trailer, what with the dust storms and the burning fields.

A space expedition is put together to seek another planet to relocate, but there is a feeling that something goes wrong when one of the ships disappears through a black hole. My guess is this is where the real action / story of the film starts but, for the time being, we’re not shown more.

“Interstellar” stars Matthew McConaughey, Makenzie Foy, Anne Hathaway, Michael Caine, Jessica Chastain, Casey Affleck, John Lithgow, Ellen Burstyn, Wes Bentley, Matt Damon, and Topher Grace.
