But remains just as confusing, fans say

Undoubtedly one of the most hyped and promising releases of this summer is Christopher Nolan’s “Inception.” With the support of a stellar cast and a plot that is bound to get even the most skeptic interested, the film also boasts ground-breaking and breath-taking visual effects, and a brilliant score. To make things even more interesting, Warner Bros. has released a new trailer / featurette for the film, AceShowbiz informs.

The plot of the film was blurry from the start and continues to remain so: it has a lot to do with entering into the subconscious, into the world of dreams and changing things to one’s own liking. Previous teasers and trailers did not explain how exactly that happens, so this fresh footage should do just that – only that it somehow manages to make things even more complicated, it is being said. The Extractor, the Point Man, the Architect, the Forger, the Shade and the Target are all in there, in this new trailer, but that’s not saying a lot.

Yet, that’s not to say hype for the film hasn’t just reached even higher quotas than before. “Less than a month before the US release of ‘Inception,’ Warner Bros. Pictures unleashes a new trailer for the movie that provides in-depth look at the major characters. It has new scenes which explain the jobs of The Extractor, The Point Man, The Architect, The Forger, The Mark and The Shade. The Tourist, however, is not highlighted in the video. The film revolves around Leonardo DiCaprio’s Dom Cobb, an expert in stealing people’s secrets through their dream,” AceShowbiz writes.

“His rare ability has made him a coveted player in this treacherous new world of corporate espionage, but it has also made him an international fugitive and cost him everything he has ever loved. He is now offered one last job which could give him his life back. However, instead of stealing an idea, he has to do the reverse which is to plant one. But his team of specialists is not prepared for the dangerous enemy that seems to predict their every move,” the same e-zine further says of the twisted plot of the film.

The all-stellar cast includes Ellen Page, Michael Caine, Cillian Murphy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Ken Watanabe and Tom Hardy. The film is directed by Chris Nolan, on a script by Chris Nolan – and, for those for whom his name doesn’t ring a bell, one should note that he’s also the man behind impressive films like “Memento,” “The Prestige” and “The Dark Knight.” “Inception” arrives in US theaters on July 16 – for the new trailer / featurette, see the video below.
