People of Panem, not all hope is lost: that is the message of a new teaser trailer for “Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1.” It may be short but it does its job very well because I for one am very hyped about the November release.

To be better understood, this teaser should be seen right after the one released last month, showing President Snow (Donald Sutherland) addressing the people of Panem from the Capitol and explaining to them that each District was the body of Panem, while the Capitol was its heart.

Snow was not alone: the video also showed Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson), who, as you might remember, was captured at the end of the previous installment, “Catching Fire.”

In this new video, which clocks under 1 minute, Johanna Mason (Jena Malone) is also up there with Snow. She too was captured at the end of the previous round of the Hunger Games, the one which pitted victors from all editions against each other.

However, the best part of this new teaser doesn’t come until the end, when the transmission is interrupted by Beetee (Jeffrey Wright) to deliver a message from District 13: the Mockingjay lives. Keep hope alive!

“The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1” will be out on November 21, 2014. The final installment, “Part 2,” will drop in theaters one year later.
