Not all the titles in the latest Bundle have Linux support

A new Humble Bundle has been released and is the first one in 2015. Even if not all of the games in this new promotion are for Linux users, there are still a few that are worth it.

The latest collection of games is called the "Humble Awesome Games Done Quick 2015 Bundle." The name of the bundle shows that there is currently a speed run marathon for a number of games and you can watch it unfold on Twitch.

It's not exactly what we've been waiting for and some of the games that have been included are available on Windows only. This would have been a great opportunity for the devs of those games to have Linux ports ready, but that's not happening any time soon.

Linux games are no longer a focus

There used to be a time in the life of the Humble Bundle initiative when the gamers would wait for new collections to be made available only to have access to new Linux titles. That is not happening anymore and the new bundles are usually just cheap and not multiplatform. From time to time we get an all-Linux collection, but they are usually made up of older stuff.

"Pay what you want for Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition, Shadow Warrior Classic Redux, Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee, and Volgarr the Viking. Pay $6 (€5) or more to also receive Shantae's: Risky's Revenge - Director's Cut, SpeedRunners (Early Access), SpeedRunners - YouTuber Pack 1, SpeedRunners - YouTuber Pack 2, and a Twitch Turbo 30-day subscription. Pay $10 (€8) or more, and you get all of that PLUS Escape Goat 2 and a three-month subscription to XSplit Premium," reads the official website.

From this list of applications, games, and services, we can tell you that only Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition, Shadow Warrior Classic Redux, Volgarr the Viking, and Escape Goat 2 come with Linux support. Of course, if you already paid for Escape Goat 2, then you will get all the other titles and services just as well.

The promotion will run for six more days, so there is plenty of time to decide. Enjoy!
