Huawei had the MediaPad Links 10+ and MediaPad 7 Youth tablets on display at CES this year, but apparently the company has more tablets in the works.

The MediaPad X1 and MediaPad M1 7 Classic, both 7-inchers, have recently been spotted making an appearance online and now a new model has been added. According to Notebook Italia, the Huwaei MediaPad M1 8.0 has shown up on the DLNA site to get its certification (I couldn't verify because the link doesn't load).

There’s not much info about the device, except that it will probably boast an 8-inch WXGA display (1280 x 800 pixels) and a quad-core HiSilicon processor clocked at 1.6GHz (could be the same V9R1 that’s powering the Ascent Mate 2).

The tablet will come in three versions, the 3G/GMS, Wi-Fi and 3G/LTE. The MediaPad M1 8.0 will be the company’s 8-inch tablet, a screen-size which is getting more traction by the day as even Google is gearing up to release its Nexus 8.
