LG Electronics released its latest High Definition (HD) plasma and LCD TVs especially for all gadget enthusiasts out there, but also for the ones who love watching TV on a perfect screen.

LG 's new series of HD-Ready TVs - 42PC1R, 50PC1R, 42LC2R, 37LC2R, 32LC2R and 26LC2R - feature higher resolutions, bigger aspect ratios and a greater color realism because of the embedded latest LG technologies.

The 42PC1R model, as many other recently released displays, reduces viewer fatigue and offers clear images because of the "Clear Filter" Technology.

More than that, 42PC1R includes a special film that is, in fact, a glass filter meant to reduce blurring and enhance the image clarity.

Mr Howard Lee, Managing Director for LG Electronics Singapore stated:
"By launching the ground-breaking Plasma PC1 and LCD LC2 series and these HD-Ready TVs, LG Electronics will revamp its premium image in the flat panel display market by offering market-leading picture quality and functions to Singaporeans."

The manufacturer guaranteed for the compatibility of its plasma screens with other HD enabled devices, being also well-suited for digital broadcasting. This is why the plasma displays can be "hooked" with a Blu-ray/ HD set top box or HD-DVD players via a HDMI connection.

Furthermore, the LCD TVs were presented as being the ultimate multimedia entertainment tools, as 42LC2R, 37LC2R and 32LC2R models have surround sound up to 15W x 2, while 26LC2R has a capacity of up to 10 W X 2.
