A brand new hotfix update for Heroes of the Storm can now be downloaded by players from all over the world, as Blizzard confirms that, after installing the patch, a wide variety of improvements should be present in the title. These range from fixes to latency problems to the elimination of the stalls and stuttering reported by many fans.

Heroes of the Storm saw a technical alpha stage take place throughout 2014, and at the beginning of the year, a special closed beta kicked off, with developer Blizzard inviting more and more people into the test for its multiplayer online battle arena title.

Since then, the studio has kept on releasing new updates and patches for the game, filled with fresh content, like new heroes and maps, but also new mechanics and features that enhanced the whole experience.

Unfortunately, the latest major update, which included Sylvanas Windrunner and the Tomb of the Spider Queen, also brought a few key issues, such as stalls and stuttering when entering a match or using certain abilities.

Now, after studying the problems, Blizzard has just rolled out a special hotfix update for Heroes of the Storm. The patch is filled with solutions to common problems, starting with the latency issue that caused some players to be kicked from a Draft mode lobby. The stalls and stuttering seen when using certain abilities are also eliminated, while players with integrated graphics cards should see far less stuttering in regular gameplay.

Specific hero bugs relating to Raynor's Confident Aim, his Bullseye talent, or Sylvanas' Shadow Dagger are also fixed by the new patch. Players who control the Garden Terror are also going to find that they can no longer place a plant inside the allied Hall of Storms.

Last but not least, when playing a Custom Game, players or referees can pause the action using their Pause/Break key.

The new patch is already available in most of the game's regions. It can be downloaded through the Battle.net client. A restart of the client might be required to prompt the transfer. Check out the full changelog below, via the official forums.
