The phones will be available starting next month

Motorola introduces today a new line up of entry level GSM and CDMA handsets.

The new MOTOMOBILE portfolio begins with two value-priced clamshell handsets, the Motorola W220 and W375, bringing a new level of slim-line style and functionality to consumers around the world.

Motorola also unveiled the W208 and W210, which incorporate sleek looks and robust features into a remarkably thin candybar form factor. Giving consumers a stylish and reliable way to communicate, the W210 adds CDMA connectivity and the GSM W208 comes in two eye-catching color schemes.

Motorola W220 handset includes a built-in stereo FM radio, picture messaging, alarm clock and up to 600 entry phone book. The smart W220 also features an innovative external display with color icons for instant updates on message, battery and phone call status. The W220 measures 46 x 95 x 16.7 mm and weighs 93 grams. Its features include a large 128 x 128 1.5 inch vibrant color screen and expanded battery life that accommodates up to 497 minutes of talk time and 293 hours stand-by.

The W375 combines strikingly svelte design and a splash of colorful self-expression with an integrated VGA camera, speakerphone functionality, mobile USB, FM radio and MP3 ringtones to help users express their individuality. The W375 shares the intuitive external display of the W220 and supports SMS and MMS messaging. The W375 measures 45 x 99 x 18.6 mm and integrates 1.5 Mb user memories. This tri-band handset features a 128 x 160 TFT screen with up to 450 minutes of talk time and up to 250 hours of stand-by.

Motorola's color initiative offering contrasting schemes in new and unique colors continues with the W208, which is available in Fire Red/Black Slate and Silver Sail/ Black Slate. The handset is less than 15 mm thick and features a stereo FM radio, alarm clock/stop watch, currency converter/calculator, 200 entry internal phone book, office quality speakerphone, zoom font, 3 pre-loaded games, and 32 channel polyphonic ring tones.

The W210 combines versatility and style with robust features to create a stunning new handset in the CDMA portfolio. The handset has a built in stereo FM radio offering real-time access to information and entertainment on the move. The W210 also comes with Motorola's Lantern feature for illumination at night or in dark environments.

All handsets are expected to be available in the second half of 2006.
