Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation is reportedly getting ready for the release of a new flavor of the HTC Desire smartphone, one that is said to feature the codename of HTC A11.

According to info coming from Twitter user UpLeaks, the new mobile phone will be released with a 4.7-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering an FWVGA resolution.

Moreover, the handset should include a Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 processor, which is the 64-bit CPU that Qualcomm made official last year (and which also offers 4G LTE connectivity and Adreno 306 graphics).

The upcoming handset is also said to include a 5-megapixel camera on the back, paired with a VGA front camera for making video calls while on the go.

Apparently, HTC will launch the new device with its own Sense 6.0 UI for Desire loaded on top of the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system.

No specific info on when the new handset might become available for purchase has been provided as of now, and details on the price tag that it might sport when released are missing as well.

However, chances are that the mobile phone will become official in the not-too-distant future, so keep an eye on this space for additional details on the matter.
