It appears that Westinghouse decided to play as many sides of the display industry as possible when it put together its newest collection of HDTVs, as it has 24 to 60-inch models with or without 3D, among other things.

It seems that Westinghouse is doing what other companies sometimes do, namely unveil a whole bunch of products of more or less the same type at once.

More specifically, the outfit created a full series of HDTVs, all of which have different screen sizes and feature sets.

There is a total of six HDTVs, with display sizes of 24 to 60 inches, although one particular model stands out over the rest.

Said TV is the 47-inch W47S2TCD, which comes with a 3D screen and support for the Full HD image quality (1,920 x 1,080 pixels resolution).

Said panel is of the passive variety and has a response time of 6 ms, plus the DayBright backlight enhancement tool and 3D noise reduction.

"We're thrilled to announce our first 3D HDTV," says Rey Roque, Vice President of Marketing at Westinghouse Digital.

"Westinghouse can now truly fulfill the needs of every consumer, with sets ranging from 22" to 60" in both LED and LCD, and the addition of our first 3D HDTV and connected HDTV."

Sales of the 47-inch 3D HDTV should start soon, if they haven't already. The suggested retail price is $1,199, but it is quite likely that the store price will be much lower, what with competing 42-inch passive 3D screens selling for $699.

The other five, future HDTVs have screen sizes of 22 inches, 24 inches, 42 inches, 46 inches and even 60 inches, although, of them, the 46-inch one is the most noteworthy, since it comes equipped with LAN connectivity.

What this means is that the WC-4625T, as it is called, can stream online media from such sources as Vudu and Netflix.

I am honestly surprised that I can't seem to find them. Westinghouse has a few TVs listed on its site, but they aren't the ones detailed here.

Here's the link anyway.

As for shopping sites, a search through online stores turned out nothing. Weird. It's been well over half a year now. I don't know what to make of this.
