Alfonso Cuaron and Sandra Bullock were at Comic-Con 2013 in San Diego last weekend to promote their upcoming project, “Gravity.” A new clip from the film was also shown, most of which is included in the trailer embedded above.

Aptly titled “Detached” and shot in one single long take, the video is like a journey into a nightmare, documenting the exact moment when two astronauts’ mission goes bad.

They are played by George Clooney and Sandra Bullock and, after being hit by debris from a destroyed satellite, they find themselves stranded in space, bound to each other and with limited oxygen.

That final shot, of Bullock’s character drifting away, is enough to send chills down your spine.

“Gravity” will open at the Venice Film Festival and TIFF, and premiere in theaters on October 4 this year.
