Gran Turismo fans are going to need some serious therapy after browsing through these new GT5 Prologue screenshots we're making available today, as Sony and Poliphony Digital seem to have outdone even themselves with this last installment in the popular racing-sim series. Not only does the game look stunningly sharp (even for next-gen hardware), but the new features we're just discovering by looking at the screens, prove that GT5 Prologue is going to blow our minds away when it's officially launched.

Pictures 4 and 9: check out the 100 percent realistic tracks and landscapes!
Picture 5: check out the grass, it actually has height, width and length - it's there, physically
Picture 7: can't wait to hear that crowd cheer as I cross the finish line on the first place - is that by any chance Grand Valley Speedway? Looking good...!
Pictures 6 and 10 - pit stop features
Picture 11 - main menu looks fresh, comprehensive and full of shortcuts, with a totally different, yet attractive interface - something that should have been implemented with the release of Gran Turismo 4 for PS2
