As the release date for the “Godzilla” reboot draws even nearer, new promotional material is released and new aspects of this epic survival movie come to light. This week, it is the turn of a new teaser that banks more on the audio than the video to gain your attention.

The first teaser features the voice of main actor Bryan Cranston, angrily demanding that he be given more information as to how the entire situation has occurred. We can only speculate that he's referring to the natural disaster that caused Godzilla's emergence.

“You're not fooling anybody when you say that what happened was a natural disaster,” we can hear Cranston saying and then lamenting, “You're lying! You're hiding something out there! It was not an earthquake, it wasn't a typhoon. This is what caused everything in the first place. Don't you see that! And it is going to send us back to the stone age..”

The new rendition of the old Godzilla story has been billed as an epic rebirth of the original movie by Toho, and it's also supposed to be a monster movie the likes of which we've never seen. The only question that remains: is Godzilla here to save us or destroy us?

The answer to that question will be revealed when the film will make its cinematic debut on May 16.
