God of War: Ascension has just received a brand new developer diary video from Sony, this time showing how the protagonist, Kratos, came to life by going behind the scenes of the voice and motion capture sessions.

God of War: Ascension will once again feature everybody's favorite Spartan – Kratos, as this time the game explores his origins right after he became the ghost of Sparta.

Fans already got to admire plenty of videos with the game and even an impressive live action trailer.

Now, a brand new developer diary has appeared on the web, showing the voice and motion capture sessions for God of War: Ascension, as well as how they were used to bring Kratos to life inside the actual game.

As you can see, the whole process is quite complex and has required a lot of effort from both the actors, like T.C. Carson or Jennifer Hale, as well as from the developers at Sony Santa Monica.

Check out the new video above and look forward to God of War: Ascension's release in March for the PS3.
