Nvidia has just announced the availability of their Nvidia Tegra 3 application processor for mobile devices, none other that the popular quad-core Kal-El chip, and also made available new video demonstration with it.

Coming as part two of the Glowball demo that was published several months ago, the new clip is meant to showcase even more of this processor's capabilities when it comes to rendering an interactive environment with real-time dynamic lighting, real-time physics, fluid gameplay and more.

Glowball part 2 was set completely underwater, which enables the demonstration of caustics effects, as Nvidia puts it. There is also a split screen for better showcasing realistic graphics on this CPU when compared to competitive offerings. Here's what the company explains: This demo takes mobile graphics performance to a new level, with roughly 300 simulated kelp plants and over 1,400 other moving plants scattered across the sea floor. Factor in the schools of fish with reflective scales and various other animal life, and the resulting geometry in this level reaches nearly two million rendered triangles.
