Ubisoft has just unveiled a brand new video with its upcoming Ghost Recon: Future Soldier shooter, this time showing off its special Guerrilla mode, in which players, alongside their friends (either locally or online), need to withstand waves of enemy attacks.

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier marks the full fledged return of Ubisoft’s iconic series of third person shooters and, in order to help draw in people, the company is borrowing concepts from other titles in the genre.

The Guerrilla mode may be extremely similar to Gear of War’s Horde one, but the approach is a bit different, as the first wave sees the Ghost Recon forces eliminate enemies from a location and must then defend it in front of reinforcements.

The whole action requires strategy skills and, based on your performances, you unlock different types of equipment which should help you withstand the enemy onslaught for longer periods of time.

The full game is out in May for the PS3 and Xbox 360, while a PC version is still in development.
