14 DAY TRIAL // The first trailer for the action flick “Getaway” came out in June and, without a doubt, it looked very promising. The editing on the second one makes it look cheap, silly and, quite frankly, a major cliché.

The film stars Ethan Hawke as a retired sports car driver whose wife is kidnapped by a mysterious Euro villain played by Jon Voight.
If he wants to get her back, he has to complete a series of “tasks,” all of which are highly dangerous and, of course, highly illegal as well.
Selena Gomez also comes along for the ride.
The film is directed by Courtney Solomon (“An American Haunting,” “Dungeons & Dragons”), and will run in a theater near you starting August 30.
