Another week, another gaming product shows up. Though this is hardly the first gaming peripheral this week, or even this single day.

Anyway, Genius has formally launched the KB-G265 Gaming Keyboard in North America.

It is equipped with 20 anti-ghost keys, 1000 Hz polling rate (normal keyboards have 125 Hz, meaning an eighth of the response time), 8 macro keys and, of course, LED backlighting.

Genius envisions the KB-G265 being used in LAN parties and other dark gaming environments.

For connection to the PC, a USB 2.0 port is used.

Also, for convenience, Genius ships the newcomer with eight additional silver keycaps, for W, A, S, D, and other essential gaming buttons.

Sales should have started in North America for $39.99 / €39.99. The product page should have more info, unless it's on an unexpected break (ergo blank).
