A few months ago we reported that Sony would be announcing new E-mount and A-mount camera models in the beginning of 2014. With CES 2014 around the corner, it's probable that the Nippon electronics maker will be making some important announcements at this year’s first major event.

According to SonyAlphaRumors, an anonymous source has reported a few possible specs of two future Sony A-mount digital SLRs. It seems that the two new full-frame and APS-C models will come with built-in Wi-Fi and NFC capabilities and will feature the same 19-point AF 11 cross type autofocus system that can be found in Sony's a77 and a99 models.

At the same time, the APS-C size camera features a lock on selector dial similar with the one found on a99. The LCD screen has been improved from 912k to 1.2k pixels resolution. The translucent mirror reflection has also been tweaked and now it stands at 20%.

The name for both cameras is still classified, but it seems that they will come with an improved JPEG engine and phase detection AF sensor. Stay tuned as we try to find out more about these upcoming Sony A-mount cameras.
