Samsung is currently pushing out a new software update for its Galaxy S III smartphone, so as to provide users with a few minor enhancements and with increased stability on their devices.

No specific changelog for the new update was provided, but some of those who already installed it report that it brings, among other changes, the possibility to adjust the screen brightness straight from the notification area.

According to SlashGear, there is also an Auto option for users to set if they don’t want to constantly adjust these settings on their own.

No other visible changes appear to have been included in the update, though users might actually spot some more after installing it.

To grab the new software, Galaxy S III owners will have to head over to the Android settings on their devices and search for it. However, it might not appear on all units at the same time.
