Samsung’s Galaxy S III flagship smartphone is slowly turning into one of the most expected mobile devices of the year. The South Korean mobile phone maker has already confirmed plans to make the device official before mid-2012, but hasn’t offered specific details on the handset as of yet.

However, we were able to learn some more info on what the device could include and on its visual appearance, although no official announcement on the matter has been made as of now.

There have been various leaks with the device, including photos and specs, but confirmation on them has to emerge. The same applies to the latest leaked photo with the Galaxy S III, one that has very few chances to prove real.

The photo, attached above, supposedly shows the Galaxy S III as displayed on a monitor. It was published over at Reddit and comes from a Samsung employee, it seems.

However, there is a big possibility that it is nothing more than a fake, starting with the simple fact that it is small and blurry enough for details not to be visible.

We’ll take its authenticity with a grain of salt for the time being, but we’ll keep an eye out to see whether the device seen in it is indeed the Galaxy S III or not.

The photo was accompanied by a series of details on the device, including the fact that it would pack a quad-core application processor inside and 2GB of RAM, along with a 12-megapixel photo snapper on the back.

Moreover, the handset is said to sport a 4.7-inch screen, with a small bezel. The screen is edge-to-edge, as previously rumored. However, this detail contradicts previous leaks, which claimed that the smartphone packed a 4.8-inch screen.

Apparently, Samsung might offer the Galaxy S III either with Ice Cream Sandwich and the TouchWiz UI on top of it, or with Ice Cream Sandwich alone. Stay tuned for more on this.
