The case also has a toollessly removable top panel and a modular 5.25-inch cage

A new case has been released by Lian Li, and while the company didn't go too crazy with the outer design, it did go a fair bit outside the norm when it comes to the insides.

The company started out, years ago, with an arachnid-shaped chassis, and has since made it a point to ensure that its products are at least somewhat quirky compared to all others out there.

Thus, the new PC-V2130 has been revealed. It has several unusual traits, such as a fully modular 5.25-inch drive cage (you can install optical drives, water cooling components, or other things there), and a toollessly removable top panel.

The HDD/SSD support is considerable as well, with not only eight 3.5/2.5-inch trays, but three more than are located behind the motherboard tray, of all places. There's the possibility to add an extra 4 more even, via a removable bracket.

240/280mm radiators are supported for the top, as the toolless top panel is there to make installation easy. Speaking of which, the front panel can be removed similarly easily too (a couple of thumb screws hold it there) for access to the two 140mm fan dust filters.

Furthermore, Lian Li included a front I/O panel with four USB 3.0 ports and HD audio connectors, but which is hidden behind a “stealth cover.”

The Lian Li PC-V2130 sells for $499 / €372 without a window and $569 / €425 with a side window.
