Beside their numerous Cyber-shot digital cameras, Bloggie pocket camcorders and Full HD 3D Camcorder, Sony also released at CES 2011 the HDR-PJ50V, HDR-PJ30V and HDR-PJ10V Full HD Handycam camcorders, all of which come packed with built-in projectors. So, what sets these new Full HD camcorders from all of the other similar products from Sony is the fact that they sport a built-in video projector and speakers, the projector being integrated into the flip-out 3.0” Wide Clear Photo Plus touch panel LCD screen and being able to deliver projections with a diagonal size of up to 60 inches.

Plus, in order to ensure good quality playback even in the absence of a TV, the built-in speakers offer Clear Phase stereo technology with S-Master digital amplifier, while the camcorders also offer a built-in USB cable and software for easy web upload and quick charge.

The HDR-PJ50V records 1920x1080 HD video at up to 24Mbps, as well as 7-megapixel still images, that are saved on the built-in 220GB hard disk drive.

Additional features include the “Exmor-R” CMOS sensor and Wide Angle G Lens w/ 12x optical and 17x Extended Zoom, as well as the built-in GPS receiver w/ NAVTEQ maps, that geo-tags content.

Next in line comes the Sony HDR-PJ30V model, that offers exactly the same features as the PJ50V, the only difference between the two being the storage media, represented, in the latter case, by a 32GB flash memory module.

Last, but certainly not least, comes the HDR-PJ10, equipped with a Wide Angle G Lens w/ 30x optical and 42x Extended Zoom, but only capable of taking 3-megapixel still images and featuring just 16GB of internal Flash memory (no GPS module on this model, either).

The Sony HDR-PJ10V and Sony HDR-PJ30V Handycam camcorders will arrive in stores in March for 700 and 950 US dollars, respectively, while the HDR-PJ50V will be available in April for about US$1,000.
