Sensing that the Mac's popularity among enterprises is growing, Apple has quietly issued more online seminars for folks looking to tap into the power of the Mac. Whether you're at home wondering how to make better use of Podcast Producer, or at work in need of a solution to connect a Mac to existing workgroups and other office computers, Apple's free, online seminars are just what you need.

"Tired of defending your old system from yet another virus? Need to integrate multiple platforms in one office? Whether you're working from home or at a Fortune 500 firm, the Mac is the ideal platform to solve both these problems for your business." Apple states on its web site, referring to the latest online seminar posted by the Cupertino-based Mac maker: the "New to the Mac for business users" seminar.

"If you're contemplating a move to the Mac, this online seminar will give you useful tips and valuable information to help you make the transition seamless," the company explains. This particular seminar, 26 minutes long, is hosted by Jim Heiser, Apple Business Marketing, and Sasha Rovin from the Apple Retail Store in Los Angeles. The duo presents the basics of Mac OS X Leopard for businessmen who've recently made the big switch.

Although aimed at business users, Apple's latest-revealed online seminar can help even those sitting at home, stuck between using shortcuts and getting around the Aqua UI. According to the company...

"You will learn:

- How to get around on the easy, user-friendly Mac OS X interface - How to customize your Mac - How to use shortcuts and quick keystroke and mouse commands - How to connect a Mac to existing workgroups and other office computers, including PCs - How to communicate, share files, and use existing printers as a shared resource for the group"

Video seminars are free. However, registration is required in order to watch, as is QuickTime 7.4 (or later) installed on your computer.

Other online seminar highlights include "Mac for Computer Forensics and e-discovery", "Podcast Producer", and "News and Sports editing with Final Cut Pro."
