Since OZ have issued a new version of their popular SSD firmware update toolbox (now dubbed 3.01.11), we are also delivering you the specific files in case you're planning to see in detail what's going on.

First on the list are the Vertex Plus and Strata-mSATA, receiving firmware update version 3.55, fixing a SATA1 error which occured in conjunction with XP and Windows 7. No problems with Linux, though.

Firmware version 1.7 addresses Onyx, Solid2, Agility, Agility-EX, Agility-Turbo, Vertex, Vertex-EX, and Vertex-Turbo SSDs, repairing a bug  which tended to corrupt the write log history.

At the same time, the meta data save behaviour was corrected -  it no longer saves the whole meta data randomly, even when such an operation wasn't necessary. The Onyx 32GB SSD firmware 1.7 sports the same fixes.

Finally, the Summit Series now supports the TRIM command under Windows 7, thanks to the VBM19C1Q firmware. TRIM is also known as Garbage Collection under XP, Vista, and Mac OS X. Like always, please back up your data prior to starting any firmware update on your SSD lest you lose valuable information.
