Sony Xperia Z and Xperia ZL are reportedly selling very well in all countries where the phones made their debut.

Both smartphones ship with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, but Sony promised an Android 4.2 upgrade would be available soon after launch.

Today, the folks over at XperiaBlog were tipped on the upcoming firmware (10.1.A.1.434) for Sony Xperia ZL. Even though the software update has yet to be certified by PTCRB, we suspect that it will happen within the next few days.

At first glance, the changes included in this update are not that important, so we assume it only contains some bug fixes and minor improvements.

What's certain is the fact that this is not the hotly-anticipated Android 4.2 Jelly Bean upgrade, so stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
