New Final Fantasy XIII-2 Trailer Shows Off the Battle in Valhalla

Square Enix is getting ready to deploy a new installment in its long-running Final Fantasy JRPG series, this time in the form of XIII-2, an attempt at continuing the story from the original XIII last year while fixing a lot of issues that plagued the first game.

While the jury’s still out in concern to the actual gameplay, the Japanese company has now presented a new trailer for Final Fantasy XIII-2, which once again shows off its stunning computer generated cinematics.

This time, we’re treated with the Battle of Valhalla, which, as you can see in the trailer above, is quite a marvel to admire, with all sorts of battles happening at the same time.

However, it’s going to be quite a challenge for Square Enix to actually match up to this CG footage with its actual gameplay, once the game’s actually released, on January 31, 2012, in North America, and February 3, in Europe, for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
