Publishers tries to address players concerns about lack of them

Video game publisher Square Enix has launched yet another trailer for Final Fantasy XIII-2 which focuses solely on Moogles, which some players have complained have had a much too limited presence in the previously released game in the series.

The Moogles, who are a combination of a mole and a bat from an etymological standpoint, are small creatures that appear in most if not all the titles that the Japanese publisher develops using the Japanese role playing game series of mechanics.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 is set to be launched in late January in North America and in early February in Europe.

The game has been out on the Japanese market since December 2011 but it has failed to deliver the sales numbers that the publisher was expecting, performing worse than the original XIII release and than every other Final Fantasy title in modern gaming history.

The story uses much of the same world and characters as the previous game.
