14 DAY TRIAL // Yoshinori Ono, the executive producer on the Street Fighter series, has confirmed that a new fighting game is in development at Capcom and that the company is looking for a game designer and a programmer who are willing to work in their Tokyo or Osaka studios.
The developer has not offered any details on the nature of the new title but, while answering a question from a fan on Twitter, he has suggested that it will be linked to the next generation of consoles from Sony and Microsoft.
The fact that Yoshinori Ono is not willing to offer information might mean that Capcom is actually thinking about introducing an entirely new universe, with mechanics and characters that have not been previously seen.
Of course, the company could be simply working on a new version of its already popular Street Fighter, which has already delivered solid fans on the current generation of consoles.
