14 DAY TRIAL // Someone at the promotion department for the “Fifty Shades of Grey” movie knows how to use subtle hits to send the right message. In a day and age where everything is out in the open and the raunchier a poster is the better, the “Fifty Shades” team came up with an interesting design.
The studio has just released a new promotional poster on their Twitter account and it features the movie's main protagonist, Anastasia Steele, played by actress Dakota Johnson. In it, the 24-year-old actress can be seen looking off-camera pensively, while holding a big black pen to her lips.
On the pen it stands written in big, gold letters “Grey,” which, if you're fast enough, you're going to pick up on in a second. In fact, it doesn't take a particular dirty mind to understand the innuendo behind this photo, nor do we have to paint it out for you.
The photo is captioned with the message “Happy Birthday, Anastasia. #FiftyShades,” and it's a clear symbol for Christian Grey, the other main character in the movie, played by Jamie Dornan.
The movie is based on the best-selling book by E.L. James and it's due to come out next year, right smack on Valentine's Day. The hype around this movie is reaching epic proportions, which is understandable considering the success the book had among middle-aged women.
