The Yahoo! Mail Blog, offering peaks into what the team is working on and giving out advice on resolving issues, has given us a heads-up (or better said has pulled our sleeve) on the new features introduced. Judging by the amount of feedback they've received and from what people have been telling me related to them, they are big with a capital b.

First off, there's the Download All Attachments option, that is downright a savior for those receiving emails with lots of files attached. Before, they had to click on the download link for each of the items, now it's all done with just one press of a button, a big time saver. Following up on the exclusive Mail updates, a new Auto-Save to Compose has been added, pretty much equivalent to Gmail's option. The Save Draft button is still available and functional for those using it compulsively, but fortunately they don't need to. I guess there should be some sort of rehab for the people afraid to lose all the work they've put into composing a message, to have them lay off the obsessive clicking.

Blog. I'm not going to say anything more, it's one of the words that pretty much says it all. Under the Help tab, there's a quick way to jump to your blog, not that bloggers don't know how to, but accessibility and customization is something every Internet company is striving to bring to all of its services.

Firefox 3.0 Beta support has been added with this latest update, but unfortunately, the FF team had updated the browser once again before Yahoo! rolled out the slew of features, this one included, but Community Manager Ryan Knight said that it was being continuously worked upon, so the team should be catching up with the browser's version anytime soon. Enjoy!
