CyberPowerPC has just lifted the veil off a brand new line of FANGbook Evo gaming laptops dubbed the HX6, notes Tomshardware.

There are three different models to choose from – the HX6-100, HX6-200 and HX6-300 and all include the new Intel “Haswell” wonder processors as well as Nvidia's Geforce GTX 765M GPU.

The smaller frame at which the HX6 is made available (15.09 x 9.83 x 1.46 inches / 38.32 x 25 x3.7 cm) manages to deliver powerful specs, increased performance and mobility, something that most gamers will certainly enjoy.

Battery life is said to be sensibly extended, courtesy of NVIDIA Optimus technology. “The sleek and stylish FANGbook Evo HX6 series is capable of handling any task it is given with the GeForce GTX 765M graphics, which features Nvidia PhysX technology and Nvidia CUDA,” stated the company.

“Users will enjoy fluid and immersive game with stunning graphics and visuals whether you're role playing in a MMORPG gaming environment, lighting up enemies in first person shooters, or commanding your army with precise micro management in real time strategies.”

The display, a 15.6-inch full HD one with a resolution of (1920 x 1080) is anti-glare, therefore especially designed to help reduce and relieve eye strain caused by looking at a computer for a period of time.

In the storage department, the HX6-100 and HX6-300 feature 1 TB 5400 RPM SATA 3 drive, while the HX6-200 is equipped with 64GB Sandisk SDD.

Windows 8 Pro is the pre-installed operating system for all the HX6 models.

The starting price for a FANbook Evo HX6-100 is set to $1,069 / €800, while the HX6-200 starts at $1,125 / €842 and the HX6-300 at $1,379 / €1032.
