A new, full-length trailer for "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug," with previously unseen footage from the movie, has been released online.

Centered around the king under the mountain and emphasizing words like “grave danger,” the trailer is showing off the full scope of the upcoming installment in the saga, and undoubtedly getting fans more excited about it.

The new trailer for “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug” debuted yesterday during a live streamed fan event that featured a Q&A with members of the cast Orlando Bloom, Evangeline Lilly, Lee Pace, Luke Evans, Richard Armitage, Andy Serkis, and director Peter Jackson.

"The Desolation of Smaug" continues the adventure of Bilbo Baggins as he journeys with Gandalf the Wizard and the thirteen Dwarves, led by Thorin Oakenshield, on a quest to reclaim the Lonely Mountain and the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor.

Comparing it to the previous trailer, now you can see how the stakes are getting higher, as all Middle Earth gets sucked into the dwarves' adventure. Smaug's presence is undeniable, his hissing, “I am the king under the mountain” leading to a wall of flame that engulfs the camera and creates the perfect amount of excitement for the fans.

"The Hobbit: The desolation of Smaug" will open on December 13, 2013.
