More light is being shed on this infamous “whodunit” caper. The incident in which Justin Bieber went off on a neighbor's house by chucking eggs has made the news around the world. So far, police were unable to identify Bieber as the culprit, but now it looks as though they're ready to throw the book at him.

TMZ has it on good authority that the LA District Attorney is going to accuse the Canadian singer of felony vandalism after it was revealed the security footage police confiscated from his home corroborates with statements from witnesses.

While Justin can't be seen in either the recording the injured party made during the attack, or in the video footage from his mansion's security system, police say that the “Baby” hitmaker, can be seen exiting the house at about the same time the incident is reported to have taken place.

The video taken by the neighbor's 13-year-old daughter right at the time of the attack, is shot at night so the singer's face can't be seen. But the audio does offer some revealing information. The voice coming from the dark of night sounds very similar to that of the pop crooner.

When being confronted by the neighbor, Justin laughs in his face and spits offensive language at him by saying “[Expletive] you! I got another one for you actually,” referring to the eggs he was throwing at his house.

The difference between treating this case as a misdemeanor and that of treating it as a felony is at the moment in the D. A.'s hands. It could be the difference between Justin going to jail or simply getting a fine and a slap on the wrist.

According to state laws, if the damage totals more than a couple of hundreds of dollars, the case can be filed as a felony. In Justin's egg attack case, the damage was estimated to go into the tens of thousands of dollars, as the neighbor said he had to redo the entire facade of his house after the attack.
