Tom Brady or Thomas Edward Brady, Jr. is an American football quarterback for the National Football League's New England Patriots, being one of the biggest stars of the football team.

Tom Brady is a triple Super-Bowl champion with 92 games played and he owns a NFL record for most consecutive wins in post season (10).

Today, a Brady management company filled a lawsuit against Yahoo, saying that the company used the player's image for the Yahoo fantasy site that provides a virtual football game.

"In a federal complaint (a copy of which you'll find below), Brady, 29, charges Yahoo! used his photo without authorization in a September 2006 Sports Illustrated ad and in banner ads on Yahoo! Sports pages. In the lawsuit, which was filed in U.S. District Court by a Brady management company, the three-time Super Bowl champion notes that fantasy football is a $4 billion industry and that the Yahoo! fantasy site is the Internet's largest, with 4.4 million users last year. Brady alleges that Yahoo's use of his image connotes a false endorsement and, as such, is seeking unspecified punitive and compensatory damages against the company," Brady said according to The Smoking Gun.

It seems that besides the problem encountered by Yahoo with the departures of its executives and the internal memo and reorganization, the company is now suffering from another federal problem that is going to get some important money from Yahoo's safe.

The management company also mentioned in the complaint that Tom Brady has become famous for his qualities as a NFL quarterback and that Yahoo didn't contribute to help the player gain more popularity.
