Realtek surfaces new drivers for two of their many network interfaces and this time it's the RTL8192DE-VC and RTL8192DU-VC. The first one is the Ethernet-based one, while the latter is the USB 2.0 interface and both of them comply with the IEEE 802.11n specification.
These interfaces support dual MAC and this means that each can act as a WiFi station and AP at the same time, being connected to two different networks.
Running in both 2.4GHz and 5GHz band channels, these new chips also sport open, shared key, and pair-wise key authentication services for convenient access security setup.
The Two Transmit and Two Receive paths (2T2R) and diversity antenna complement the vast array of nifty features available in these two Realtek interfaces. You can get the new drivers for each for free as always:Realtek RTL8192DE-VC
