14 DAY TRIAL // Lima Sky has announced a new release of Doodle Jump, the immensely popular iOS puzzle platformer. Currently at version 1.26, Doodle Jump sports Game Center achievements. The title costs $0.99 to own. Those who’ve already made the purchase can update to the new version for free.
As usual, the developers announced their update via the game’s official page on the iTunes App Store.
According to Lima Sky, “This update brings you Game Center Achievements!”
Game Center is Apple’s new social network for iOS games which allows gamers to invite someone to join a game, or choose to go up against people they don’t know from anywhere around the world in a multiplayer session.
Lima Sky took this opportunity to thank the community for its support, and advised those who like the game to continue to provide feedback.

For those who are not familiar with Doodle Jump, the game has players guiding Doodle the Doodler on a springy journey up a sheet of graph paper, picking up jet packs, avoiding black holes, and blasting enemies with nose balls along the way.
The control scheme involves using the iPhone’s accelerometer through tilts. Key features include:

Doodle Jump is the winner of an Apple Design Award for excellence in design, user experience, innovation, performance, technology adoption, and quality, according to Lima Sky, which claims this achievement is much like winning an Oscar Academy Award.
